DISCOVER KEFALONIA
A LAND OF UNSPOILED NATURE AND CRYSTAL-CLEAR WATERS
Kefalonia’s richness is not limited to its breathtaking landscapes and pristine beaches. Its history lives on through its remarkable landmarks and traditional villages — a key reason why it remains one of the top summer destinations in Greece.

SKALA BEACH
One of the most popular beaches in Kefalonia! Skala Beach has gained a loyal following thanks to its deep blue waters and the stunning natural scenery that surrounds it — lush pine trees lining the coast. The beach stretches over 5 kilometers and is covered in thick, golden sand. Dive into an unforgettable seaside experience, pure and uniquely Kefalonian.

KAMINIA - POTAMAKIA BEACH
Located on the southern coast of the island, just 3 kilometers from Skala, you’ll find an endless beach with two names: Kaminia on one end and Potamakia on the other. Similar in size to Skala Beach, it features golden sand and beautiful views of Zakynthos island. Ideal for families or anyone who loves warm, shallow waters, this beach is perfect for a full day of relaxation — and possibly even turtle spotting! The endangered Caretta-Caretta turtles often come here to lay their eggs in the sand.

DROGARATI CAVE
Drogarati Cave is one of nature’s most striking creations on the island. Over 150 million years old, the cave’s beauty remains untouched, thanks to its stalactites, underground chambers, and mysterious, otherworldly atmosphere.

MELISSANI LAKE CAVE (CAVE OF THE NYMPHS)
Just a short distance from Karavomylos lies the magical Melissani Lake, hidden within a unique cave formation. According to legend, the nymph Melissanthi drowned here after her love for the god Pan was unrequited. Visitors can take a guided boat tour through the cave and hear the full story while admiring the breathtaking scenery. This is undoubtedly one of Kefalonia’s must-see attractions.

ACROPOLIS OF SAMI
Located on Mount Lapitha, the ancient Acropolis of Sami is one of Kefalonia’s most important archaeological sites. Dating back to the Paleolithic era, the ancient city was known for its strong defenses, thanks to its impenetrable walls. In addition to its historical significance, the site offers awe-inspiring panoramic views that are not to be missed.

ASSOS
A charming village that captures the unique spirit and beauty of Kefalonia while keeping its history alive. Assos feels like a step back in time, with its colorful houses, blooming bougainvillea, and the famous Assos Castle. Together, the village and the fortress are among the island’s top attractions. The view of the Agia Kyriaki bay from here will make you fall in love with the place even more.

MONASTERY OF SAINT GERASIMOS
The Monastery of Saint Gerasimos is located at the foot of Mount Ainos, built on the foundations of an older monastery from the 13th century (during the Crusades). Surrounded by vineyards and nature, it is a place of tranquility and reverence. The old monastery houses the relics of Saint Gerasimos, and visitors can descend into the cave where the Saint lived in solitude. The experience is humbling and deeply spiritual.

CHURCH OF SAINT SPYRIDON
The Church of Saint Spyridon is one of Kefalonia’s most notable religious landmarks, located on the beautiful pedestrian street of Lithostroto in Argostoli. Inside, you'll find magnificent frescoes and a finely crafted, gilded iconostasis. The church has a serene and reverent atmosphere, attracting more and more worshippers each summer.
